Last updated: September 13, 2025

Learn how to sync your Shopify orders to start tracking fulfillment performance.

What You’ll Accomplish

Import all your Shopify orders so you can match them with shipment data from your 3PL and track performance metrics.

How to Sync Your Orders

Step 1: Go to Import Page

  1. Click Import from Shopify in the navigation
  2. You’ll see when orders were last synced
  3. Check how many orders you currently have

Step 2: Choose What to Sync

Select a date range:

  • Last 60 Days: Best for getting started
  • Since Last Sync: Updates only new orders
  • All Time: Gets your complete order history

Step 3: Start the Sync

  1. Click Start Sync
  2. Watch the progress bar
  3. Sync continues even if you leave the page
  4. Come back anytime to check status

How Long Does It Take?

  • Small stores (under 1,000 orders): 1-2 minutes
  • Medium stores (1,000-10,000 orders): 2-5 minutes
  • Large stores (10,000+ orders): 5-15 minutes

What Gets Imported

Order Information

We import everything needed to track fulfillment:

  • Order numbers and dates
  • Customer details
  • Product information
  • Fulfillment status
  • Tracking numbers (if already fulfilled)

What You Can Track

Once synced, you can see:

  • Which orders are fulfilled vs unfulfilled
  • How long orders took to ship
  • Which orders are missing tracking
  • Fulfillment trends over time

Best Practices

When to Sync

  • Daily: If you process 100+ orders per day
  • Weekly: For most stores
  • After bulk fulfillments: When your 3PL processes a batch

Tips for Large Stores

If you have thousands of orders:

  1. Start with “Last 60 Days” instead of “All Time”
  2. Use “Since Last Sync” for updates
  3. Sync during quiet hours if possible
  4. The sync runs in background - you can work on other tasks

Checking Sync Status

View Your Sync History

On the Import from Shopify page, you’ll see:

  • When each sync started
  • How long it took
  • How many orders were imported
  • Whether it succeeded or failed

If a Sync Fails

Don’t worry! Failed syncs are usually temporary:

  1. Wait a few minutes
  2. Try again with a smaller date range
  3. If it keeps failing, contact support at

Your existing data is safe - syncs never delete information.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to sync before importing 3PL data?

Yes! Sync Shopify orders first, then import your 3PL shipment data. This ensures we can match shipments to orders.

How often should I sync?

Depends on your order volume:

  • High volume: Daily
  • Medium volume: Every few days
  • Low volume: Weekly

Will syncing affect my store?

No. Syncing only reads data from Shopify. It doesn’t change anything in your store.

Can I sync specific date ranges?

Yes! Use “Last 60 days” or “Last 30 days” to sync recent orders only.

Next Steps

After syncing your Shopify orders:

  1. Import your 3PL shipment data
  2. View your performance dashboard
  3. Set up regular sync schedule
