3PL Pulse works with any fulfillment provider. Choose from our pre-configured providers or add a custom one.

Pre-Configured Providers

These providers have pre-set defaults for CSV column mappings and SLA measurements:

Custom Providers

For providers not in the list, choose Custom 3PL when adding a provider. You can:

  • Connect via API (if your provider supports it)
  • Connect via SFTP (for scheduled file exports)
  • Upload CSV files manually

Custom providers require you to map CSV columns manually on first import.

Connection Methods

API Integration

Direct API connection provides:

  • Automatic data sync on schedule
  • Real-time accuracy
  • No manual file handling

Most providers connect through our unified API gateway. ShipBob has a native integration.

Setup: Go to Providers → Select provider → Connection tab → Configure API

SFTP Import

For providers that export fulfillment files to SFTP:

  • Automatic file fetching on schedule
  • Works with any CSV-exporting provider
  • Configure once, runs automatically

Setup: See Setting Up SFTP Integration

CSV Upload

Manual file import works with any provider:

  • Upload files from your 3PL’s portal
  • Works when no API or SFTP is available
  • Good for initial historical imports

Setup: See Importing 3PL Data

Which Method Should I Use?

SituationRecommended Method
Provider has API integrationAPI - most automated
Provider exports to SFTPSFTP - automated file fetching

Provider Settings

After adding a provider, configure:

  • SLA terms - Cutoff time, ship target, excluded days
  • Timezone - Match your 3PL’s operating timezone
  • Credit per breach - For tracking SLA violation costs

See Configuring Your Providers for details.
